🙃 Here’s a way to de-stress on Mondays or really any day of the week! It only takes a few minutes if that! This can help you #focusonthemoment & #reduceaxiety
▶️ Begin by working on deep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
1st- 👁 Acknowledge 5 things you can see around you. These could be items in your house, office, sunlight, rain, etc.
2nd- ☝️ Acknowledge 4 things you can touch around you. These could be clothing, your desk, a blanket, etc.
3rd- 👂 Acknowledge 3 things that you can hear around you. These could be music, people talking, a cat purring, etc.
4th- 👃 Acknowledge 2 things that@you smell around you. These could be food, clean air, etc.
5th- 👅 Acknowledge 1 thing you can taste. This could be food, drink, toothpaste, water, etc.
✔️ End with a long deep breath.
